The diabetes question: Growth hormone plays a natural role in blood sugar regulation, helping prevent glucose from dropping too low. When supplemental GH is added, this effect can become slightly amplified in the short term. Under careful lab monitoring and weight-appropriate dosing, the risk of developing diabetes is extremely low, close to zero, in healthy children without pre-existing metabolic concerns.
